StatMentor is a new blog aimed at medical students and trainees, run by a friend of mine, hospitalist and world health crusader, Varun Verma, MD. He decided to kick off the site with a writing competition. He asked physicians to write about the advice they’d give their former self, if they could go back in time to advise themselves as they entered medical training.
Here’s my post: Discomfort is the Currency of Your Dreams.
Thanks to reader engagement, this post won the Statmentor writing competition. The proceeds have been funneled back into making this site the best mass-mentoring site it can be.
The path can be riddled with failures, even if you're doing it right. In this recording, I share some of my gaffes with you.
